Video overview

MoYu officially announced its new smart cube, the “WeiLong V11 AI Guided Recovery Edition,” on August 15. I have not obtained it yet, but detailed specifications have now been revealed, so this video provides an early preview. Its biggest feature is the Light Guide function. Instead of only watching a smartphone screen, LEDs on the cube itself illuminate to show which face to turn next and in which direction. Using the currently available materials, I take a detailed look at everything from the internal structure and LED solving instructions to the AI guide, Magnetic Matrix, and online competition. Main features include: 8-light ball core White, red, green, and blue lights that indicate each move AI light guidance matched to different skill levels 48 piece magnets Magnetic Matrix system Approximately 16 hours of battery life Online battles and global rankings Dedicated charging case Transparent body based on the WeiLong V11 Conventional smart cubes are solved while watching an app screen. The WeiLong V11 AI Guided Recovery Edition takes a very interesting approach: the cube itself visually teaches you the next move. It will be interesting to see not only how well it supports beginners, but also how practical it is as a speedcube.
