Video overview

This video takes a detailed look at the structure and features of the new STELLAR CUBE ULTRA 3x3, based on the preview materials currently available. The highlight this time is its remarkable magnetic system featuring 124 magnets. Rather than simply packing in a large number of magnets, they are positioned in multiple areas—including around the core, along the tracks and in the side wings—to improve stability and alignment during turns. In the video, I use the available materials to explain: What is the STELLAR CUBE ULTRA 3x3? Its designation as official AMSA competition equipment The 124-magnet configuration The full-core magnetic layout Side-wing assistance The integrated internal structure that supports turning 9-level compression adjustment Stepless tension adjustment Anti-stick design An internal surface structure that retains lubricant The Stellar Cube Core / Ultra lineup A summary of the mechanisms included in the Ultra What is especially interesting is that this is not a single new mechanism. Instead, magnetic force, internal structure, adjustment systems and friction countermeasures are combined into one system. What are the differences between the Core and Ultra? And how will the figure of “124 magnets” actually affect the turning feel? This is only a preview and preparation video made before getting the actual cube, so I will examine its real-world performance again once I have it in hand.
