Video overview

This time, I unbox and review **two “Luminous Cubes”** that create distinctive visual effects with light. First, I open the packages and examine the design, construction and appearance of each face. I then test the cubes’ biggest feature: their luminous effect in a dark room. Some areas look like ordinary colors in a bright room, but their appearance changes dramatically when the lights are turned off. The colors shift depending on the viewing angle and how the light hits them, making the cubes visually fascinating. However, this also makes some colors difficult to distinguish during an actual solve. In the video, I: ・Unbox two Luminous Cubes ・Compare their appearance and color schemes ・Test how the luminous effect works ・Turn off the room lights and check how they glow ・Compare how they look in bright and dark conditions ・Solve the first Luminous Cube ・Take a closer look at the second type ・Compare visibility in the dark ・Solve the second cube ・Place both versions side by side for a final comparison These cubes are fun even as display pieces, but trying to answer “Can they actually be solved?” revealed a different kind of difficulty from a standard 3×3. I hope this video is useful for anyone who enjoys unusual cubes, glowing cubes or novelty cubes.
