Video overview

This is an unboxing review of the much-discussed new 3×3 cubes, the STELLAR CUBE Core and Ultra. I previously introduced their features using advance materials. Now that I have the physical products, I disassemble them and examine their appearance, turning feel, internal construction, magnet placement and adjustment systems. While disassembling the Ultra, I noticed a concerning condition around a magnet inside an edge piece. The magnet itself sits behind the plastic and is not directly visible from the outside. However, around the magnet near the shoulder of the edge piece foot, I found behavior / a condition that did not appear normal. At this point, I cannot determine whether this issue is limited to my unit or reflects manufacturing variation, but the actual condition is shown in the video. The video also covers: ・Unboxing the STELLAR CUBE Ultra ・Differences from the STELLAR CUBE Core ・Examining the 124-magnet configuration on the physical cube ・Disassembling the areas around the edges, corners and centers ・Inspecting the area around the Ultra edge-piece magnet ・Checking the adjustment system ・Comparing the internal construction with the YJ META3 ・Comparing the turning feel of the Core and Ultra ・Performing actual solves to evaluate the user experience I used the physical products to examine details that could not be understood from the advance materials alone. In addition to **“What is the actual construction of the 124-magnet Ultra?”**, another major point this time is the edge-piece irregularity discovered immediately after unboxing. I hope this helps anyone considering the STELLAR CUBE Ultra, wondering about its differences from the Core, or interested in its structural relationship with the YJ META3. Note: The condition shown here was observed only on the unit in my possession. It does not indicate that the same issue occurs in every STELLAR CUBE Ultra.
