Video overview

How have GANCUBE magnetic cubes evolved over the past decade? Using GANCUBE's “A Decade of Magnetic Evolution” post as a guide, this video follows the development of its magnetic systems from the 2016 GAN356 AIR UM to the 2026 GAN17 MagDrive. The story begins with edge and corner magnets, then moves through visible and adjustable magnet strength, magnetic cores, Maglev, repelling edge magnets, and finally a magnetic network linking the cube's inner, middle, and outer regions. The latest GAN17 MagDrive uses 196 magnets in total and a 17.5 mm micro magnetic core. It represents the next stage of the system GANCUBE calls “Full-Turn Navigation.” Source (official GANCUBE Instagram) https://www.instagram.com/p/DbzVk07ktrt/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== The video focuses on these models: GAN356 AIR UM GAN460M GAN356 X GAN11 M Pro GAN12 Maglev GAN13 Maglev GAN14 Maglev Pro GAN15 Maglev GAN16 Maglev MAX GAN17 MagDrive Rather than simply asking whether the number of magnets increased, the video traces how GANCUBE changed magnet placement, linked different magnetic systems, and used them to control turning over ten years. *Product specifications, technical names, and release dates are based on GANCUBE materials and information publicly available when this video was produced. 00:00 Opening — Ten years of GANCUBE magnetic technology 02:59 2016 | GAN356 AIR UM — First-generation magnetic system 04:11 2018 | GAN460M and GAN356 X — Visible magnets and strength adjustment 07:07 2020 | GAN11 M Pro — The magnetic core arrives 08:56 2021 | GAN12 Maglev — Magnetic repulsion and Maglev 10:39 GAN13, GAN14, and GAN15 — Evolution of the second-generation system 12:05 2025 | GAN16 Maglev MAX — A 124-magnet network 13:52 2026 | GAN17 MagDrive — 196 magnets 14:58 GAN17's three magnetic regions and fully connected network 17:08 How Full-Turn Navigation works, turning feel, and summary #GANCUBE #GAN17 #GAN17MagDrive #SpeedCube #RubiksCube #GAN16MaglevMAX #GAN356AIRUM #Maglev #MagneticCube #Speedcubing
