Video overview

This video unboxes and tests the WeiLong WRM V10 PiCube Edge-Repulsion SE, customized by PiCube using the MoYu WeiLong WRM V10 as its base. The defining feature of this model is Edge Repulsion—the additional repelling magnets installed in the edge pieces. The video explains the magnet configurations, internal structures, and different approaches to turning feel of three WRM V10 models: ・Standard 20-Magnet Ball-Core edition ・UV PiCube SE ・Edge-Repulsion SE Edge Repulsion is not simply a way to make the magnets stronger. I explain in detail how repelling force from the middle to the end of a turn may affect overshooting, rebound, and wobble when the layer stops. Later, I unbox the actual cube and compare its internal structure with the regular PiCube SE and other versions. I also assess its real turning feel and impressions during solves. From internal construction to turning behavior, this is a detailed look at how the MoYu WeiLong WRM V10 PiCube Edge-Repulsion SE differs from the standard V10 and PiCube SE.
