Video overview

I unbox and review the X-Man Design Tornado V2, which ranked No. 1 in the review request ranking on MackeeCube.com. The Tornado V2 was released in 2021, but it is still frequently mentioned as one of the quietest cubes available. This time, rather than simply unboxing the standard version, I directly compare three cubes known for their quiet performance: • Tornado V2 Standard Edition • Tornado V2 Cuber's Home Edition • DaYan TengYun V1 I also disassemble both Tornado V2 versions to examine their internal differences, including the center area, piece structure, and the core magnets added to the Cuber's Home Edition. In the second half, I turn and test all three cubes, comparing: • Turning feel • Turning sound and quietness • Corner cutting • Differences between the standard and Cuber's Home editions • How the added core magnets affect the feel • Quietness compared with the TengYun V1 • Performance during actual solves These cubes come from an earlier generation than today's latest models, but this video examines how they compare now from the perspective of a “quiet 3×3.” The MackeeCube.com review request ranking is what prompted this Tornado V2 review. If there is a cube you would like me to review next, please let me know by voting or posting feedback on the site.
